For a time there was rumor that Starlito and Kevin Gates would be releasing a joint mixtape. We’re not ruling it out at this point, but we’re certainly not counting on it either. What we will do is thoroughly enjoy any time the two raspy street rappers link up for a record, which is always sure to be filled with more realness than you’re likely to find on most rapper’s full discography.
“Yeaa” is a modest outing from the two rappers, leaving us wanting more with it’s two-and-a-half minute runtime. Still, leave it to Gates and Lito to do a hell of a lot with a few bars, as they bend their flows around the minimal beat, eventually landing on Juvenile’s “Ha” flow.
