Lil Wayne Drops The Theme Song For Skip Bayless’ New FS1 Show “Undisputed”

Listen to a snippet of “No Mercy” the new “Undisputed” theme song.

Skip Bayless’ new show on Fox Sports 1, “Undisputed” will kick off next Tuesday, September 6th, at 9:30am EST and it will feature the musical stylings of Skip’s long time pal, Lil Wayne.

“Lil Wayne has been a friend and frequent guest on my show,” he said, “and I’ve told him how honored I am to have such a legend create such a great song for our new show.”

Billboard just recently announced that Fox Sports 1 commissioned Lil Wayne to come up with the theme song for “Undisputed,” and that Weezy will be making an appearance on the premiere episode next week.

The president of Jingle Punks, Jared Gutstadt, who wrote and produced the track for Wayne, told Billboard;

“Knowing that Fox Sports is about to launch one of the biggest sports debate shows of all time, it’s only fitting that they partnered Jingle Punks with the biggest and most respected rapper of all time. It was absolutely astounding to see what Lil Wayne was able to bring to the table on this song.”

Skip will be joined by co-host Shannon Sharpe as well as sports radio host, Joy Taylor who will be mediating the debates between the two outspoken personalities on FS1.

Lil Wayne Responds To Jazz Cartier’s “Lil Wayne”

“Lil Wayne” is now Lil Wayne’s favorite song.

Last night, Toronto’s Jazz Cartier dropped off his first single since his excellent February album Hotel Paranoia. He titled the track “Lil Wayne,” released as a tribute to the New Orleans rapper. Produced by Cartier’s go-to guy, Lantz, it’s also a fiery anthem that channels the street-bred adrenaline of peak-era Weezy. Upon hearing “Lil Wayne,” one would think that it’s quality was such that Tunechi would approve. Indeed — not only does he approve of the tribute track; it happens to be his “new favorite song.”

Wayne tweeted his appreciation for the song that’s named for him earlier this evening, shouting out both Cartier and Lantz. “I f’n luh dat shit!” he exclaimed. “Preshiate it!!” He described the song as being “Funny as fk but dope.”

Lil Wayne Has Been Released From The Hospital

Lil Wayne has recovered after suffering at least one seizure.

Lil Wayne has officially been released from the hospital following one or more seizures he suffered on Monday. TMZ reports that Wayne checked out of the Omaha hospital that he was transported to yesterday, and has already left the city, planning to continue his tour this Saturday in Kansas City.

Weezy’s private jet was forced to make two emergency landings yesterday. Original reports indicated that the rapper refused medical attention after he landed in Omaha following a seizure, before re-boarding his plane and taking off, landing a short time later after experiencing a second seizure. However, Wayne’s rep’s implied he only experienced one “minor” seizure.

At the present time, there has been no explanation as to why he may have experienced a seizure. The rapper has a history of these type of episodes, and has previously said that he suffers from epilepsy.

Lil Wayne Takes Picture With Rick Ross & Trick Daddy

This wouldn’t be much of a news story if all of these guys had a little but more “respek” for Birdman.

Coincidence or not, some of Birdman’s most notable “enemies” were all together Wednesday night to help kick off Beyonce’s Formation Tour down in Miami, Florida. Serving as special guests thanks to show’s opening act DJ Khaled, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, & Trick Daddy were all in the building Wednesday night, and ended up taking a picture together, which I’m sure will rub Birdman’s hands a certain way once he sees it.

Of course, the irony of the picture is that it surfaces just days after Trick Daddy & Rick Ross were brought to the forefront of Charlamagne Tha God & Birdman’s confrontation on The Breakfast Club last week. If you missed it, Charlamagne came to his defense against Birdman and asked the Cash Money CEO why he doesn’t run up on Rick Ross or Trick Daddy like the way he did with the “radio guy,” aka meaning himself, especially considering both Rozay and Trick Daddy had publicly bashed Birdman as well on the Breakfast Club in the past.

Then completing the tri-fecta in the picture is Lil Wayne (and Mack Maine), who we know is suing Birdman for millions over unpaid royalties & the release of Carter V.

While this easily could be just a Miami connection & coincidence, you have to believe the trio had to know what they were doing when taking the picture together. Check it out below and let us know what you think of it.
