Producers On ScHoolboy Q’s “Blank Face LP” Include Metro Boomin, Tyler The Creator, Alchemist & More

Here’s a tentative list of the producers who have contributed to ScHoolboy Q’s “Blank Face LP.” They include Sounwave, Alchemist, Metro Boomin, Tyler, The Creator, and even Kendrick Lamar.

The excitement surrounding ScHoolboy Q’s upcoming album, the Blank Face LP, is steadily increasing with each day. Today, two weeks before the album’s release, Q shared part 1 of a short film entitled “By Any Means.” The clip also serves as the music video to the Blank Face LP track of the same name. Yesterday, Q shared the album’s tracklist as well as its features. There’s no Kendrick or Ab-Soul, but the impressive guest list includes names like Vince Staples, E-40, Tha Dogg Pound, and more. As the album has now been made available for pre-order, a KTT user was able to locate some of the names found in the composer credits for each individual track. The list isn’t definitive just yet, but with a quick glance, one can see that Q has recruited the very best for the production side of his fourth album.

The producers that appear most frequently are Tae Beast, Sounwave, Cardo, and Nez & Rio. Elsewhere, Metro Boomin and Southside team up for “Dope Dealer,” which features E-40, and Tyler, The Creator reappears as a producer (after Oxymoron’s “The Purge”) for Tha Dogg Pound-featuring “Big Body.” As of now, it’s difficult to judge the extent of each artist’s contributions, especially as Tupac is credited on “Str8 Ballin”; of course, that one is likely influenced by the Pac track of the same name.

And though Kendrick wasn’t listed as a featured artist, he is credited next to Cardo as a composer on “Overtime.” Check out the updated tracklist, featuring a (likely incomplete) list of the Blank Face LP’s producers, below.

1. TorcH (prod. by Nez & Rio)
2. Lord Have Mercy (prod. by Swizz Beatz)
3. THat Part (feat. Kanye West) (prod. by Cardo)

5. Kno Ya Wrong (feat. Lance Skiiiwalker) (prod. by The Alchemist)
6. Ride Out (feat. Vince Staples) (prod. by Sounwave)
7. WHateva You Want (feat. Candice Pillay) (prod. by Tae Beast)
8. By Any Means (prod. by Cardo)
9. Dope Dealer (feat. E-40) (prod. by Metro Boomin & Southside)
10. JoHn Muir (prod. by Sounwave & Adrian Younge)
11. Big Body (feat. Tha Dogg Pound) (prod. by Tyler, The Creator)

15. Blank Face (feat. Anderson .Paak) (prod. by Sounwave & T. Russell)
16. Overtime (feat. Miguel & Justine Skye) (prod. by Cardo & Kendrick Lamar)

Tyler, The Creator’s Golf Wang Line Gets Its Own Fashion Show In LA

We fully expect Odd Future to turn the idea of a fashion show on its head.

Rappers are taking the fashion runways by storm. Just last week A$AP Mob members A$AP Bari and A$AP Rocky were representing at their version of a runway show for their VLONE brand. Kanye West’s over-the-top Yeezy shows are impossible to ignore. Tyler, The Creator’s clothing line Golf Wang will be the next up with its own runway show.

Made, the fashion upstart, convinced Moschino to switch its next runway shows for two 2017 collections from London to Made’s new event in Los Angeles, Made LA. The second night of the two day event will feature a runway show for Golf Wang, Tyler, The Creator’s clothing line. When asked to describe the collection, Tyler is effervescent. “I just make whatever clothes I want to wear for the next five months and then run that. I don’t really put deep, intricate though into it–it’s more like a feeling,” the Odd Future leader explained to Vogue over the phone.

ASAP Rocky Talks Respect For Tyler, The Creator & Recording “Electric Body” With ScHoolboy Q

ASAP Rocky shares some thought on his upcoming tour with Tyler, The Creator, and his stoned studio sessions with ScHoolboy Q.

ASAP Rocky recently announced a co-headlining tour with Tyler, The Creator, but so far, we hadn’t really heard his thoughts on hitting the road with the Odd Future wildman. In a new interview with Revolt, Rocky spoke of the general respect he has for Tyler as a renaissance man.

“I fuck with Tyler’s whole movement,” he said. “His aesthetic, what he does — directs his own videos, produces his own beats, designs his clothes, ran his crew for a while, ran companies and stuff like that. Just being a fellow artist I respect that.

Later on, Pretty Flacko shared his favorite recording session from his recent album, ALLA. His answer was quick, and seemed to be based more on the antics that ensued during the process than the actual music being laid down.

“Probably ‘Electric Body,’ with Schoolboy,” Rocky said with a stoned giggle. “Schoolboy a fool man. That motherfucker was in there smoking big-ass paper blunts and shit. Old-ass man and shit. Granddaddy Q. Shout out to my boy.”

Tyler, The Creator Reminisces About Odd Future, Says OFWGKTA Is “No More”

Tyler, The Creator, the lead man in the Odd Future collective, got a bit sentimental on Twitter last night as he looked through old photos of the crew on his Golf Wang Tumblr.

“Damn going threw the old golf wang photos shit. i miss my friends alot. 5 years later isnt that long but wow soooo much has happened,” he tweeted, before proceeding to share a few archived Tumblr pages from the good ol’ days. Before he started sharing Tumblr photo sessions though, he sent out a somewhat cryptic tweet alleging that OFWGKTA is no more– “although its no more, those 7 letters are forever,” he said, not elaborating any further.

The plot thickens though; early this morning, Tyler sent out some more tweets which could cancel out last night’s emotional binge. “WHAT THE HELL DID I WAKE UP TO,” he tweeted this morning.

Check out his series of tweets below. We’ll update you if we have confirmation or clarification either way.
